For the performance The Strategies for the Weightlifters, Bouillon Group adopts verbal and nonverbal language, signs and gestures of political representation. In this way the group deals both with important achievements in the history of relations between Georgia and the EU as
well as sport achievements within the framework of the Weightlifters performance, which they have presented in Georgia (2009), Germany (2011) and Czech Republic (2012).

Für die Performance The Strategies for the Weightlifters machen sich Bouillon Group verbale und nonverbale Sprache, Zeichen und Gesten politischer Repräsentant*innen zu eigen und verhandeln damit sowohl wichtige Errungenschaften in der Geschichte der Beziehungen von Georgien zur EU, als auch die sportlichen Errungenschaften im Rahmen ihrer Weightlifters-Performance, die sie in Georgien (2009), Deutschland (2011) und der Tschechischen Republik (2012) präsentiert haben.

Protest is the second performance from the Social Aerobics trilogy and came into being through collaboration between the artists and volunteering participants.
Within the performance, political gestures and protest movements are transformed into a choreographed physical expression that reflects on various forms of protest.

„Protest“ ist die zweite Performance der „Social Aerobics“ Trilogie von Bouillon Group und ist ursprünglich in Kollaboration der KünstlerInnen und einigen freiwilligen TeilnehmerInnen entstanden. Mithilfe der Performance werden politische Gesten und Protestbewegungen in einen choreografierten körperlichen Ausdruck überführt, um über die Formen unterschiedlicher Proteste nachzudenken.

Die Tour zieht durch verschiedene Städte in Deutschland und lädt die Community dazu ein, die Grenzen und Möglichkeiten von experimenteller Illustration, im digitalen wie analogen Bereich, zu erforschen und zu teilen.

We are delighted to welcome Ifie Sin from July to September 2018 to stay and work at basis within the framework of Air_Frankfurt and the MMCA Residency Goyang (Seoul). Ifie Sin (*1981) talks about her artistic practice and her project ideas for the three months – residency in Frankfurt.
