Polyphonies
We are delighted to present the exhibition Polyphonies by Angelica Mesiti from December 8, 2017 to January 21, 2018 at basis e.V. Frankfurt. This solo exhibition presents her work for the first time in the German-speaking countries in a comprehensive form. The opening is on December 7, 2017 at 7 pm.
Artist Talk with Filippa Pettersson and Zelin Seah
The artist-in-residence program ‚AIR_Frankfurt’ holds a new cooperation between basis e.V. Frankfurt, the artist space lostgens’ Kuala Lumpur and the Goethe-Institute Malaysia. Zelin Seah (Kuala Lumpur) and Filippa Pettersson (Frankfurt) are the first fellows of this new cooperation. The evening gives one the opportunity to meet both artists and to gain an insight into their work and Kuala Lumpur’s artistic scene.

Im Rahmen des Künstlerresidenz-Programms ‚AIR_Frankfurt’ besteht seit diesem Jahr eine neue Kooperation zwischen basis e.V. Frankfurt, lostgens’ Kuala Lumpur und dem Goethe-Institut Malaysia. Zelin Seah (Kuala Lumpur) und Filippa Pettersson (Frankfurt) sind die ersten Stipendiat*innen dieser neuen Kooperation. Der Abend soll Gelegenheit bieten, die Künstler*innen kennen zu lernen und Einblick in deren künstlerische Projekte sowie in die Kunstszene Kuala Lumpurs zu erhalten.

IEPA #02 - International Exchange Program for Visual Artists
The three-month IEPA artist grant, a cooperation between the basis e.V. production & exhibition platform and NEKaTOENa, is offered annually. Its aim is to promote exchange in the field of art between the partner regions of Nouvelle-Aquitaine in France and the German Federal State of Hesse. On view in the exhibition are works produced during the residency by this year’s winners Bianca Baldi and Ilazki de Portuondo.
IEPA #02 - International Exchange Program for Visual Artists
Das jährlich ausgeschriebene dreimonatige Arbeitsstipendium IEPA ist eine Kooperation der Produktions- und Ausstellungsplattform basis e.v. und NEKaTOENEa. Ziel ist es, den künstlerischen Austausch zwischen den Partnerregionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine in Frankreich und dem Land Hessen zu fördern. Die Ausstellung zeigt die jeweils vor Ort entstandenen künstlerischen Arbeiten der diesjährigen Gewinnerinnen Bianca Baldi und Ilazki de Portuondo.
